Suboxone contains a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone. Buprenorphine is an opioid medication, sometimes called a narcotic. Naloxone blocks the effects of opioid medication, including pain relief or feelings of well-being that can lead to opioid abuse.
Both of our programs show positive results within the first ninety days. Remaining in treatment for an adequate period of time is critical. The appropriate duration for an individual in treatment depends on the type and degree of the patients problems and needs. Research indicates that most addicted patients need as least three months of treatment to significantly reduce or stop their drug use.
